It has been reported that Channel 6, the new channel coming soon to Ireland, will not be on Sky Digital. This is apparently because of a dispute over the Channels location on the service. The Channel wants to be on position 105 (following on from the location of all current Irish Channels. 101 RTE 1, 102 RTE 2 , 103 TV3, 104 TG4.

However Sky offered the channel a position at the end of the EPG! The channel will be on Chorus Digital and Cable, and NTL. DO

The New SKY EPG reshuffle will take place in late February. Will ‘tidy up’ the channels, for a more uniform look. The most notable changes is music is now on channel 340, and radio now gets four digits starting at 0101. (click read more to continue) (more…)

ITV3 and ITV 4 are no longer on the Irish EPG on SKY Digital, the channels had left the EPG without any reason or announcement. It’s possible that TV3 won their court case, or that the channels have been removed for another reason. The Channels can still be added to the other Channels feature on SKY.

Police have asked Super model Kate Moss to return to the UK, and respond to questions over the alleged drug abuse. The model, 31, has refused to answer any questions about the reports, and has since spent time in rehab, in Arizona. The winner of 2005’s X-Factor stepped into 2006 still at number one, with the song, sung by 21 year old Shayne Ward, ‘That’s my Goal‘. This means that the JCB song was held in the number two spot, for another week. DO

Charmed is back on Television with their eight and most lightly last season. Living TV are showing the witches at 8pm on Thursday 04 January. The episode entitled ‘Still Charmed and Kicking’ will introduce a new witch called Billie. DO

UK and Irish tabloid newspapers are reporting today that, former entertainer Michael Barrymore will be returning to the UK for the Celebrity Big Brother reality TV show. It has been reported that the TV personality has been paid 150,000 GBP for staring in the hit Channel 4 TV show. However , one particular newspaper has reported that the star is terrified at returning to the UK, as he expects a bad reaction from the British public, he has asked to be introduced to the show at the last minute. Barrymore left the UK after the body of 31 year old Stuart Lubbock was found floating in his swimming pool following a party in his home. DO
