No Sign of Amazon.co.uk

Amazon.co.uk has seemed to have fallen off the ‘face of the net’. However a mail to there support department revealed that they know about the problem and are working to fix it, whatever that problem is though seems to be something the company does not what the public knowing.

Sky Three

BSKYB will launch is new channel named sky three on the 31st of October. The channel will replace SKY Travel on Freeview and will also be on Sky on channel 108.

Some shows to transfer to Sky Three such as the US crime drama Cold Case and Paul McKenna’s series I Can Change Your Life.

It is safe to assume that this is in response to the channels being launched by rivals such as ITV4 and More 4 recently launched. It will also give freeview users a taste of Sky programs.

George Takei Discusses his sexuality

George Takei, who is best know for his role in Star Trek The Original Series and the Star Trek Movies, has announced that he is gay. Mr. Takei told the Associated Press that his onstage role in “Equus” has helped him to address the issue publicly.

“The issue of gay marriage is now a political issue. That would have been unthinkable when I was young.”

Takei, an Japanese American sad that he grew up “feeling ashamed for being gay”.

The 66 year old actor joined the cast of Star Trek in 1966 as Mr. Sulu and went on the play the character for three seasons of the show, as well as six films. He has lived his partner Brad Altman for 18 years.

Rambo is back!

Rambo IV has been announced and Sylvester Stallone is expected to revive his character.

The film with a reported budget of $50 million will pick up with Sylvester Stallone’s character, living a now reclusive life, but is forced out of it to save a girl, who goes missing.

The studio making the movie is Millemmium Films, and will be set in the US and Mexico
