Agreement made to purchase 100% of TV3 Ireland

TV3 Ireland, which is currently owned by ITV and CanWest with 10% of shares held by investors, will be purchased by European private equity group Doughty Hanson & Co, who has agreed to purchase 100% of the company!

Steve Bone of Doughty Hanson said TV3 was a high-quality broadcast business with ‘an excellent market position and strong growth potential’.
