Star Trek 11 in 2008

J.J. Abram, has been selected to help write and produce a new Star Trek film, set for release sometime in 2008. The title is yet unknown, but will see a new injection to the franchise, after the failed Star Trek 10 film which made only $43 million USD in North America.

Star Trek has been ’sleeping’ after the failed series Star Trek Enterprise, which was canceled after only four seasons, due to bad ratings, and public opinion of the show. Although efforts from some fans raised some money towards resurrecting the show, however it was a futile effort. The new film will be the latest addition to the Star Trek world, including 726 TV episodes, six Series, Star Trek, Star trek Voyager, Star Trek - The Next Generation, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Enterprise, And Star Trek - The animated Series. As well as 10 films.

The director of the project J.J. Abram is known for his shows Alias and Lost, as well as Mission Impossible three. DO
