Anna Moffo dies at 73 years

(US) Opera Star Anna Moffo has died at 73 (some sources report 75). She was born in Pennsylvania and turned down offers to star in films, as she intended, at the time to take religious orders. She was married to Robert Sarnoff, who was head of the NBC in the US during the 1950s. She died in NYC on the 10 March (2006) after a battle with Cancer.
