UTV now on SKY Digital Ireland

ITV went free to Air on 1st of November 2005, what this means is that people in Ireland can now watch them on their SKY Digital Service. The bad news is however, that you have to add them to the other channels option on sky, as they do not have a channel or epg number.

To do this follow the below steps for UTV.

Press the “Services” button on your sky Remote.

Select number System Setup or press the number 4, and then Add Channels.

You will then need to enter the following you move through the options using the up and down arrow keys on your remote.

Set Polarisation to : V
Set Frequency Rate to: 10906
Set FEC to : 5/6
Set Symbol Rate to 22.0

Then press select to Find Channels. Once the results have been displayed , press the yellow button on each channel you want saved and then press select to save UTV, it will now be saved to your other channels on the services menu.

You can also do this to get ITV2 and 4 just change the settings to

10758 V
Symbol Rate 22000
FEC 5/6

    David:
    My mistake sorry its actually:

    Set Polarisation to : V
    Set Frequency Rate to: 10906
    Set FEC to : 5/6
    Set Symbol Rate to 22.0

(when the results are displayed: Select UTV and the yellow button then press select when complete.)

Nebbo : They won’t be on the remote, to view them you will need to select services and the Other Channels.

Let me know how that goes
